STORY
Our pottery is made in a workshop located in Mukono, Uganda and crafted by local artisans and craftspeople. The pieces celebrate ancient traditions handed down through generations creating future heirlooms to be cherished, used, and admired for generations to come. The pottery is made by the method of throwing clay on the potters wheel. The process includes the turning and shaping, drying, cleaning and applying designs by hand painting, burnishing and two stages of firing. The final stage is the cleaning with water which reveals our products beautiful personal character.
